Season 2018-2019 was the most successful in Dulles Youth Sports history!

A testiment to the quality of the club overall!

USA Wrestling declared Dulles Youth Sports in the top 50 out of 4500 clubs throughout the United States in terms of size for all USA Wrestling Affiliated Organizations!

Club Attributes

- Wrestlers participated in NVWF, MDWL, Dulles Dulles, Open Tournaments, and Inter-club Scrimmages
- 125 wrestlers registered in season 2018-19
- Five different practice groups including the travel team
- Many experienced coaches serving as volunteers in the head coach, assistant coach, and support positions
- Main season November to February (mid-March for advanced team)

- Spring, Summer, Fall Off-Season practices and camps throughout the year for many

Key Statistics for the Lightning Travel Team

- Mason Dixon League Intermediate age division champions for second year in a row
- Overall joint team win at Mason Dixon League for first time ever with Ranger Wrestling Club 

- Multiple Virginia state place winners and state champion 

Key Statistics for Club Participants at Northern Virginia Wrestling Federation

- 1300 matches overall of which included 602 wins (126 more than last year)

- 277 pins (61 more than last year)

Key Statistics for Dulles Dulles

- Middle school age division champions two years in a row and also 2nd in season 2018-19
- Rising stars 3rd place for season 2018-19

- Middle school team champions for season 2018-19
